HPSC HCS 2024 Notification:
Haryana HPSC- The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) and Allied Services Examination 2024 Notification for new vacancies. The HPSC has released the HCS Notification on 17 November 2023. The HPSC HCS prelims exam will be held on 11 February 2024, and the HPSC HCS Mains Exam will be held on 30 and 31 March 2024. The HPSC HCS 2023-24 Notification PDF is released by the commission on its official website hpsc.gov.in on 17 November 2023 for 121 vacancies. The last date to apply for HPSC HCS has been extended up to 25 December 2023.

Candidates are required to apply online on the website http://hpsc.gov.in. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above-mentioned website. No other means / mode of submission of application will be accepted.

HCS Prelims result will be based on the marks secured in the General Studies Paper only and the CSAT paper will be qualifying in nature. The candidates need to score 33% marks in the CSAT paper.

12 times the number of vacancies will be called to appear in the HPSC HCS Mains Examination. The candidates need to opt for two optional subjects from a list of 23 optional subjects. The HPSC main exam is a descriptive type exam comprising five conventional essay-type question papers.

HCS Interview: The candidates who score marks equal to or greater than the HCS cut-off marks will be called for the personality test/ Interview by the HPSC. Therefore, No candidate will be called for the HCS interview unless the candidate attains 45% marks in the aggregate of all the main written question papers and 33% marks in the Hindi and English question papers. The number of candidates called for the HCS personality test will be three times the number of vacancies advertised.
